The Land of Dushkin Ambassadors (LODAs) are a vibrant and dedicated group of individuals who serve as champions of the mission and values of Atwood Legacy Enterprises, LLC. Hand-selected for their passion, expertise, and community-minded spirit, LODAs help expand the reach and impact of The Land of Dushkin by offering insight, guidance, and support in a variety of ways—from spreading the word about new releases and events to lending their professional experience and networks. While they represent diverse backgrounds and talents, LODAs share a commitment to uplifting children’s storytelling that reflects diversity, belonging, and timeless life lessons. As respected members of the ALE extended family, they collaborate with each other and the ALE team to help shape the future of our work, both creatively and operationally.

Abbey firmly believes that every great adventure starts with a book! Her love of reading began in elementary school, thanks to her teacher—published author Mr. John Atwood. His impactful, dynamic teaching style ignited a lifelong passion for storytelling and education.

With a background in training and mentoring, Abbey has spent years helping people grow—and now, she's honored to bring that same passion to inspiring the next generation of readers. When she's not spreading the magic of books, Abbey works full-time in recruiting and training at a leading trivia company. She also hosts trivia around Columbus and works as a local radio DJ.

Whether through words, wisdom, or whimsy, Abbey loves connecting with others and sparking curiosity in minds, young and old.
